Adventures Chapter 5

“The Dark Village”


“Okay, now I know what’s going on here! She’s got all our resources, brought us torture, and now she’s gone too far!” Ben said, terrified, but at the same time, filled with anger. They still saw her looking everywhere around her to see if someone’s still there. They could see that she could not make out a single silhouette. Nothing in the dark village. “So, she did steal their powers, but this is the question that needs to be answered: ‘why would she?’” Ethan asked having the same feelings Ben has. “There’s only one way to find out. We’re going to follow her and know what she’s up to, stop her, retrieve our only power she…er… stole, and bring our friend back!” Ben answered. “But how are we going to do it? With the girl so powerful, and we only have toy weapons in our hands, it’s going to be impossible to defeat her!” Ethan was right. How are they going to do it?

They looked at the whole village and saw not the people’s bodies, but their shining eyes wet with tears that seemed to be saying, “please…we are scared… do it for us”— so helpless. They took pity on the villagers and decided to go. They do not know how, but there has to be a way to stop that wicked girl. They know they are the villagers’ only hope. They also know that Lianna needs them. They took a deep breath, and went after the girl and Lianna into the swirling portal when it was just about to close, leaving their lifeless village, still full of darkness, but knew that this soon will turn back to life. Now they’re gonna have a difficult journey and a true adventure, all by themselves… or will they really have one, or will certain death be their awaiting foe?
